Yesterday, Sander moved up from Webelos to Scouts, and officially my run as Cubmaster is over. Of course, this past year has been a transition, and Dan's been doing a great job taking over. Feels silly to be nostalgic, but I do, and will miss the whole pack. On the other hand, it won't be long before those boys move up themselves, and hopefully join Troop 49.
The bridging ceremony itself was a cool Star Wars theme... maybe not strictly Scouting-appropriate, but the boys came up with the idea, and Andrea really worked hard making it work. Kudos to her. So... now... Sander becomes a scout.
